Frequently Asked Questions

Forhopp offers several payment methods to ensure freelancers can receive their earnings conveniently. You can choose from:

  • Bank Transfer: Direct deposit into your bank account.
  • PayPal: An online payment platform widely used for international payments.
  • Forhopp Wallet: Your earnings can be kept in your Forhopp wallet and withdrawn as needed.

Each payment method has its own processing time, so make sure to check which one suits your needs.

Once you complete a project, service or a job and the client approves the work, the payment is processed based on the agreed terms. If the work is accepted, the payment will be transferred to your Forhopp wallet. From there, you can withdraw it to your preferred payment method.

Make sure that your account is linked to a valid payment method before requesting a withdrawal.

The processing time for payments can vary depending on the payment method you choose. Generally:

  • Bank Transfers may take 3-5 business days to complete.
  • PayPal payments are usually processed within 24 business hours.
  • Forhopp Wallet funds can be withdrawn instantly to your linked payment methods.

Ensure that your payment method details are accurate to avoid delays.

Forhopp charges a small processing fee for payments. These fees depend on the payment method and the country of the freelancer.

  • Bank Transfers may include bank fees, especially for international transfers.
  • PayPal charges its own transaction fees.
  • Forhopp Wallet withdrawals are typically free unless the withdrawal exceeds a specific threshold.

Check Forhopp’s fee schedule for detailed information based on your location.

Forhopp doesn’t currently allow for advance payments through the platform. However, you can discuss milestone payments with the client. This means you and the client can agree to break down the project into stages, with partial payments made after each stage’s completion.

Forhopp recommends clear communication and agreements through its contract system to ensure both parties agree on the payment terms.

Forhopp offers a secure payment system that includes escrow protection. When a client accepts your proposal, funds are held in escrow until the project is completed and approved. This ensures that freelancers get paid for their work and clients are only charged when they are satisfied.

Always ensure that the full payment is placed in escrow before starting the work to protect your earnings.

Payments can be pending for several reasons, including:

  • Client approval: The client may not have approved the work yet.
  • Escrow release: Payments are released once the client confirms the completion of the project.
  • Verification: Your payment method might require additional verification.
  • Payment disputes: If there’s a dispute over the quality or delivery of work, the payment may be held.

You can contact Forhopp Support for more specific details regarding a pending payment.

Yes, you can transfer funds from your Forhopp wallet to either your PayPal account or bank account. Just make sure that your linked payment details are up-to-date. Please note that different methods might have varying withdrawal times and fees.

If your client doesn’t release payment after you’ve completed the project, the funds may still be held in escrow. In such cases, you can initiate a dispute through Forhopp’s support system. Forhopp’s team will review the situation and may mediate to resolve the issue.

It’s important to maintain good communication with your client throughout the project to avoid misunderstandings.

Forhopp provides a detailed transaction history that you can access from your dashboard. This includes:

  • Earnings summary
  • Pending payments
  • Completed projects
  • Withdrawals

Tracking these details helps you stay on top of your earnings and withdrawals.

If both you and the client agree, you can issue a refund for a completed project. This can be done through your Forhopp account. However, refunds are typically only offered if:

  • The work didn’t meet the client’s expectations.
  • Both parties have agreed on the refund amount.

To request a refund, go to your project details and submit the refund request.

As a freelancer, you are responsible for reporting your income and paying taxes according to the laws of your country of residence. Forhopp provides a detailed earnings report that can be used for tax reporting. You should consult with a tax advisor to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.

Your payment may be reduced or adjusted for the following reasons:

  • Service Fees: Forhopp charges service fees, which are deducted from your earnings.
  • Dispute Resolution: If a payment dispute occurs and is resolved in favor of the client, the payment may be adjusted.
  • Refunds: If you agreed to refund a client, your payment will reflect this.

Always review the breakdown of your payment to understand any deductions.

For long-term projects or those with multiple stages, payments may be split into milestones. Each milestone can be paid individually, and you’ll be notified when each payment is due. You can track each payment and milestone in your Forhopp dashboard to stay organized.

If a client disputes a payment, you should:

  1. Communicate with the client to understand their concerns.
  2. Check if any project terms or expectations were unclear.
  3. Contact Forhopp Support to initiate a dispute resolution process.

Forhopp’s team will mediate and try to resolve the issue fairly based on the project details.

Forhopp supports multiple currencies, allowing freelancers to accept payments in the client’s preferred currency. When setting up your payment details, you can choose the currency that works best for you.

Note that currency conversion fees may apply if you withdraw funds in a currency different from the one you received.

You’ll receive a notification when your client has made the payment, either through escrow or directly, depending on the terms of the project. You can also check the transaction history in your dashboard to see when the payment was made.

Yes, you can change your payment method at any time. To do so, go to your Payment Settings in your Forhopp account and update your payment information. Make sure to update your details before requesting a withdrawal to ensure payments are directed to the correct account.

If your payment is delayed, first check the project status and make sure the client has approved the work. If the project is completed, but the payment hasn’t been processed, contact Forhopp Support for assistance. They can help investigate any issues with the payment system or client approval.
